Welcome to the Eastern U.S. region web page.  The EUS region was formed in 2002 and has grown to have more than 20 members covering 13 states.

Our teams have been involved with many kinds of crisis response call-outs including Hurricane Katrina and the shooting at Virginia Tech.

If you live in our region and are experienced volunteering in animal-assisted activities and animal-assisted therapy, please contact us to learn how you can join HOPE AACR.  Individuals without dogs can join as team leaders.
