Alaska Airlines - Portland Int'l Airport

Description: Deployment requested by Alaska Airlines Management to spend time with flight crews who have been stressed by unruly passengers and other Covid-related events. We were escorted through TSA to three Alaska gates where flights had not boarded passengers and to one gate where passengers were boarded but the flight was experiencing a slight delay. On all occasions we boarded the planes and met the flight crews, including the pilots in the cabins. We then went to flight operations, several management offices and training classrooms to visit staff who support flight crews. To a person, every Alaska Air employee we met was very appreciative for the visit and commented that they needed an "office dog." Most mentioned the relaxation and comfort Gryffindor provided.
