Allegan (MI) Tech Center CERT Training

Our teams were called in to be present for the debriefing after students experienced a CERT training scenario. Students were in small groups ranging from 4-7 students at each session. The debriefings were led either by school counselors or a local Red Cross counselor. Each dog team was assigned a counselor for the morning classes and due to the smaller number of students only two debriefing were going on at a time, two teams were with one counselor and one team was the other. Students did benefit from the dogs as a time to reflect on what they had just experienced.
