Team Sunny was asked to attend the last meeting of a masters level counseling class at Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI) to speak on the role of animal-assisted crisis response. I used a prepopulated PowerPoint approved by the MWR manager previously. I started by sharing some of my background and interest in the field and introducing Sunny. The students appreciated the stress relief offered at the end of their term and asked several pertinent questions about utilizing AACR in their future practices.
