Clackamas County , OR Fire District #1 Station visits

Description: The Clackamas County FD#1 Health & Wellness Director requested teams to visit with firefighters following their deployment to the large forest fires in western Oregon. This was a multi-day deployment structured to visit all three shifts at 17 fire stations. Visits were held daily on Monday through Friday and the following Tuesday, 6 days total. Each visit was 30 minutes in length with variable travel time in between stations. In addition to visiting the individual stations, teams also visited administrative office, training center, logistics, communication, and maintenance staff. Both HOPE teams were accompanied by a fire department Peer Supporter who introduced the teams and insured we did not get lost as we traveled from one station to the next.
