College of the Mainland counseling session, TX

Description:

Holly Bankston is a counselor at the College of the Mainland and requested Rebel and I participate in a counseling session via zoom with one of her students who was having a particularly hard time. Holly has worked with HOPE AACR in the past and particularly with Rebel and as the student loves dogs, she felt Rebel would be a good addition to the session and he was. I introduced Rebel and explained what HOPE AACR was all about and the student asked questions. After our part in the session ended, Holly said having Rebel there was a HUGE plus as the student was much more communicative with her - he appeared to give the jump start needed for more productive sessions in the future.
