I was there for three days this past week and was on site for four hours each day with one hour travel time each way. Other agencies there where FEMA, Saint Vincent de Paul Disaster Services, a local health clinic, and flood insurance information people. Other than about one hour each day, it was completely quiet with less than a handful of people. For one hour each day there was about 20 people there, overall I had approximately 25 to 30 contacts each day, but half of those were with the staff at the event. Because there was so much downtime I offered to help out wherever I could and so did spend some time manning the check in desk and directing people to the proper areas. Sunny and I were very warmly received in general and it was a very positive experience overall.
