Edinboro Library Honoring Veterans

Description: The Edinboro Library offered materials to make a card to send to a hospitalized veteran. Patrons came to make the cards and spent time with the dogs. The Erie news was there filming and showed a story on the news that same evening. There were several small children, pre-schoolers, toddlers, and babies. Some of the pre-schoolers were nervous about dogs but spent time petting them and asking lots of questions! I think they left with a better appreciation for dogs. One baby had never seen a dog but sat on the floor and engaged with Murray with smiles and giggles.
