Marshall (MI) Regional Law Enforcement Center-Wellness Visit

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department has recently had several violent altercations in their community. They reached out to HOPE AACR to one of our members, Angie Moe and Sunny, to come in for a wellness type visit. Four teams visited the building that houses the Sheriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police and the local Marshall Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office has been working hard to increase stigma-free mental health support to their officers. We were also able to visit the county jail in Battle Creek with our teams.
