HOPE was contacted by the County of Orange's Crisis Response Network to respond to the OCDE offices. We were asked to comfort "Inside the Outside" camp workers. The camp was burned to the ground by the Bond Fire. All the animals connected with the camp perished in the fire. It was a devastating loss. We meet with some of the staff and the camps caretaking family who escaped the fire. Even though we "only" interacted with 10 people, the interactions were powerful in nature.
