Pearland ISD Mini Health Conference, Texas

Description:

I was contacted by a counselor from Pearland ISD. She'd seen the HOPE dogs working their magic at Santa Fe High School after the shooting. She had organized a Mini Health Conference for incoming 8th graders to present them with different ways to reduce stress. She wanted HOPE to be represented as a tool for emotional support, and for other school counselors to be acquainted with us. Many of the counselors came up and talked to us and we explained what we do and how to contact HOPE in their time of need.
