Red Cross Shelter of Hope

Description:

The Red Cross requested HOPE to support their Shelter of Hope fund raising and awareness event to support local disaster relief. This day the event was held at San Diego State University. We arrived at 1100 and set up on a lawn area to meet with students and Red Cross personal. Finals was the following week so many students stopped by to relieve some finals stress. We have worked along side the Red Cross at many disasters and Star and I connected with several workers about many of these deployments. It was very busy for the dogs and they were a big hit! Red cross personal wanted lots of pictures and the dogs got to check out the disaster van! We departed at 1400 hours.
