There was only one teenage young lady with her grandmother scheduled for today's interviews although the time taken to complete interviews was longer than usual. I learned from staff after the client had left that they had arrived a few minutes before I did and the girl was very closed off and negative and emphatically stated "I don't want to be here!" A staff psychologist told her that if she liked dogs, Lyrrik was coming soon. I arrived minutes after that and she started talking and hardly stopped! Both she and her grandmother talked endlessly about their dogs, cats and birds and the conversation flow was very easy and light.
