Start Date: 2019/10/07Description: We sat on the stand with a young girl in a jury trial. We were requested to do by the Assistant District Attorney for the Nashville/Davidson County Division. The young girl was traumatized last year when she witnessed her mother choked and beaten by the defendant. She told me numerous times she was afraid. She felt safe with Maverick and was able to tell what she had seen. We made history by being the first dog team for the Nashville/Davidson County jury trial system to have a dog to accompany a witness in the stand.
