Student Death in House Fire - DeTour (MI)

Description:

We were called at 6:40 AM and asked to be at the school by 8 AM with HOPE canines to provide support to K-6 students after the passing of their classmate and his father in a house fire. The mother and infant sibling escaped. Teams arrived on time ready to meet and greet at the entrance, then remained all day to visit in classrooms or individually as needed.
