I received a call at 8:00 am from the OCDE reference the death of a popular student who graduated last year. The individual was only 19. Henry and I arrived at 10:00 am at the school. We were asked to respond to the Multipurpose Room where the CRN, and district, counselors had set up a counseling room. We were stationed outside of the counseling room. Our purpose was to be a "positive distraction". After the last class of the day (it was minimum day) the CRN closed up the counseling room. We made some visits in the schools administration office and left.
