Back to school for final exams after school shooting. HOPE was part of a student social event during final exams. Five dog teams were used to facilitate and interact with students and staff. UNCC had counselors on site to assist with any student needing additional care. Students and staff interacted with the teams very well and event was a great success from input received from participants. We had the center lounge area set up with teams spread out to allow for ease of access to each dog. One round of breaks were taken during this 3 hour event. Multiple opportunities for us to share the HOPE mission and disseminate information.
