Behavioral Health Emergency Preparedness Meeting

Team Sunny received an invitation by Rick Winters, Director of the 5DMRC, to join the first meeting of the 5th medical district's outreach to behavioral health managers around the 9 counties in southwest Michigan that comprise the 5th medical district. Fifteen participants were on the call. The meeting was meant to help acquaint behavioral health leaders in southwest Michigan to the efforts and resources of the medical response coalition. This was mainly an information building meeting and it was a great opportunity to spread the word about HOPE and how we may assist behavioral health.
