Medical emergency drill, scenario - tornado came through neighborhood, multiple injuries. CERT class practicing hands on triage and emergency care. HOPE team poses as a victim and observer. I had an injury, but had my pet or "service dog." Assisting teams on how to approach someone with a dog, dog language, safe / not safe, etc. Also person came first. If no other injuries could see if dog hurt. Offered basic first aid for dogs, how to muzzle, bandage, transport.
