Harris Co DA Victim Assistance

Description: We met with Celeste Byrom, Assistant DA, and the team of case managers for the program. New members of the team hadn't met our dogs in person and only had heard a little about HOPE from other team members. We also presented the HOPE cut-out of Gus made possible from the grant and more business cards to the team. They plan to invite us back in a few weeks to meet with the prosecutors and juvenile departments. Having this assistance is a new concept for many of the prosecutors since COVID interrupted the trial process.
