Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership College Class Presentation (IL)

We were contacted by a professor from Wheaton College Graduate School who is teaching a course on Disaster/Trauma Mental Health as part of a Master's Degree in Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership. We were asked to do a presentation on HOPE and what crisis response is. We gave a talk, showed the HOPE video and had a Q&A session. The students asked very pertinent questions especially about what training the HOPE dogs must have. The professor asked us to role play what a deployment might be like so we literally sat down on the floor with the students and the dogs to demonstrate how this would be.
