Maricopa County COAD exploratory meeting

Hope AACR was invited to attend this exploratory meeting so that we can become acquainted with other emergency organizations in Maricopa County and establish a relationship with organizations for future crisis response events. This was an introductory meeting where different levels of management spoke and offered ideas about forming this new COAD. Topics discussed included the following:
*Why do we need this in Maricopa County
*Bylaws (examples from other organizations shared)
*Membership - who? types? levels?
*Leadership - board position by individual or organization
*Goals - timeline for creation of COAD (suggested date of May 2020)
*Action items and next meeting
