As Vice-Chair of the MI-VOAD, Nick Meier invited Angie & Sunny and Christine & Trustee to represent HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response at the Michigan VOAD meeting in Grand Rapids. The dogs were welcomed warmly and enjoyed interaction with meeting attendees throughout the 2 1/2 hour meeting and complimentary lunch that followed. We were thanked by the MI-VOAD Chairperson for bringing the dogs and enjoyed learning more about how state VOADs work and what services they offer the community.
