Michigan VOAD Quarterly Meeting (MI)

This was the quarterly meeting of MI-VOAD held at the World Renew Disaster Services Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. It was attended by numerous voluntary agencies as well as representatives of the Michigan State Police Homeland Security Division. It is an opportunity to share information among the members. Elections were discussed and amendments to bylaws proposed. HOPE has a new team in the area, Angie Moe and Sunny, that was introduced to the group. In addition, Christine Schaubert and Trustee were introduced. Christine is the new Chair of the Elkhart (IN) COAD and used this meeting as an opportunity to interact with MI VOAD since Elkhart County borders MI.
