Tales and Tails summer reading program at Livingston MT library

Description: Because Layla and I are involved with ITAs R.E,A.D. program, we have become acquainted with the children’s librarian. She has expressed interest in both ITA and HOPE, so she asked us to give a presentation on therapy dogs with emphasis on HOPE to middle school children. We wore our HOPE duds, hung our new banner and had a fun hour. I also talked about ITA since that connection is very much tied to our HOPE life and the first step in becoming a therapy team. Prior to the presentation there was a short blurb in the local paper about it. So another good community awareness event.
