Attendance and participation in meetings for the Week of May 11-15:

Tuesday, May 12....Mass Care meeting (9:30-10:30 a.m.) Review and update of work from past two weeks ....the four subcommittees reported out for:
a. Sheltering - ARC =updating on the homeless and preparations for flood/fire seasons ahead
b. Feeding = Salvation Army still providing meals and GVFB serving 30-50 households/daily....Headwaters and Big Sky still VERY BUSY
c. Child Care = 16 children in K-8...room for 9 more (essential worker families)...working on what C.C. will look like during summer months...alot of family stress over continued home education of children and now summer coming on and lack of child care availability
d. Mental Health, Emotional and Spiritual Care - telehealth is going well, Boz. Behavioral U.Center seeing 2-3/day, 211 hearing alot of frustration and stress in their calls. Spiritual Care is getting close to having 3-4 Area Chaplains taking on faith based needs through 211

Tuesday, May 12....Communications Committee.....primarily working on 3-4 Press Releases around May being declared "Mental Health Month"

Wednesday, May 13th....Spiritual Care ....working through logistics of how Area Chaplains will soon be set up to take faith based questions/concerns through Help Center and 211

Thursday, May 13.....MTVOAD special topic on Mental Health and Spiritual Care........Mary provided input as to what is happening in our SWMT COAD in these two areas. Grants funds for COVID 19 support was shared by Ian Thigpen along with resources being provided by SAMSHA

Thursday, May 13.....Mental Health "Team" subcommittee... updates from various organizations within our 3 counties of support being provided, upcoming training for SWMT COAD organizations through a training called, "Resiliency Project" and discussion on the Mental Health Press Releases that are coming out soon.
