County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner

This was our third visit to the LA Coroner's Office of which Calvin now recognizes and looks forward to visiting. We visited their staff from each of the three buildings and Calvin also met some new staff which were not working on the day of our previous visits. There are about 250 employees total and about 175 at any given time. Introducing Calvin and the national organization of HOPE AACR to new individuals is very good exposure. There continues to be great enthusiasm with our visits. An interaction with a employee veteran with PTSD was helpful as he discussed his interest in getting not he waiting list for a service animal. He had a great interest in hugging Calvin. Calvin continues to make a very positive impression on the staff as if they have adopted him as their mascot. I was diligent on supplying Calvin with water several times during our visit.
