Turnout was great for this elementary school vaccine clinic. Fifty 5-11 year old children were vaccinated. Petting and looking at Gus was a great distraction for them while getting their shot. Interaction numbers were high because of parents and siblings. The nurses shared that review of HOPE's participation at the clinics confirmed that there were no panic attacks or fainting at the clinics for 12-18 year olds once the dogs were present.
