Greenbelt Metro (MD) Vaccination Center

Description: This was an ongoing deployment to support FEMA at the Greenbelt Metro FEMA mass vaccination center. The center was run by FEMA and supported by FEMA, Coast Guard and AmeriCorps staff. Lucy and I visited with people who were waiting for vaccinations, waiting their 30 minute session post vaccination, and especially the staff since this was the first "slow" day they had. We interacted with at least 100 people and were escorted around by a FEMA representative so everyone knew we were "approved" to be there. All the staff we encountered enjoyed visiting with Lucy and thanked us and the previous HOPE visits.
