Safe Passage

Description: A teen came in for a video line up. She was visible shaken, hugging a teddy bear. She sat and stroked Grace. When the detective came to get her for the viewing she reached back for Grace and Grace got up to follow her. We were not invited in to the interview room. My gut feeling was to ask the detective if grace could go with her. But i did not. The other sin the waiting area commented on that too and felt that Grace would have been a good support for this frighten teen. We were there with two of the nurses and the front desk lady. We all decide it was something that should be checked in to.
