Student Death/ Longview Elementary

Description:

A student had passed away over the holiday and students were notified the afternoon of 01/10. We were asked to come on Friday, 01/11. When I talked to Taylor, she was so pleased that teams were able to come. After arriving, we were surrounded by teachers excited to see the dogs. We went to Taylor’s classroom and she brought kids in by small groups. It was a surprise to them and very well received. I think teachers were as or more excited than the kids! Taylor definitely made us feel very welcome and valued.
