Ute Pass Elementary School

Description: HOPE was asked to visit this elementary school before the end of the school year. We were taken out to the play ground for the students, and staff, to visit with the dogs. Students came to interact with the dogs in between their recess time on the playground. We had 5 groups of students visit with the dogs outside and then inside after it started to rain. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions about the work the dogs do. A small, select group of students was invited to the library to be with the dogs which was very nice. Our visit to this school was very much appreciated, and enjoyed, by all. The dogs made a big impression. Parting words by one of the students who came to give the dogs a good bye kiss capped off a great visit. She said " I knew this would be a great day!"
