HOPE teams were invited to present on dog bite prevention to 4 groups of 20 children (3/4th grade). We demonstrated how to read a dog's body language, how to correctly approach a dog (strange or known), and what to do if they are alone when a threatening dog approaches them. Because of the energy levels present in our groups, we were prepared to involve them in the presentation both physically and verbally. We had a photo board depicting several images of good and bad signs and coloring pages.
