That’s the effect volunteers with HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response believe dogs like Sunnie, a 60-pound golden retriever; Ginnie, an 86-pound German shepherd; and Sonny, a 90-pound smooth collie, have and why they make sure they’re available to help people during crises.
